We are going to look at hats from a different perspective and examine what happens when they become part of a museum collection.
We will explain the implications once a hat becomes part of the Museum’s collection, and what steps are followed to preserve these pieces and disseminate their knowledge.
We will talk about:
- Conservation-restoration
- How materials degrade and why
- How we treat them to preserve them for many years to come
This talk will be in Spanish and there will be no translator available.
