Wired brimmed hats always look divine when attached to a headband or a bandeau. This sought after trend in highly adorned structures that can be suspended or stand up in any direction, would look great in any budding millinery designer’s collection. Using a ‘brim plotting technique’, Denise will show you how to create and make wonderful wired framed brims based on a headband or a bandeau. Using wires, tubular crinoline and added decoration to make unique decorations that are bang on trend for this season.

You will learn how to:

    • Make the pieces with confidence, using the right wires tools and added features.
    • How to attach these pieces to your hat/headband structure,
    • How to neatly finish the inside
    • Balance the structure and make it safe to wear.

Denise is generous with her knowledge and encourages open discussion in the class. You will receive handouts and photos of the examples, details of suppliers and other options, and an unparalleled experience.
